I generally love Mansfield State High School. The teachers are nice if you are a well behaved student, the programs are extremely well taught, and I believe the policies are agreeable. I believe that the uniform is a key Mansfield look, and it shows school pride. However, the back of the female blouse is see-through to some degree, this can show the outlining of the bra strap. Though with being male, I don't know what this is like, I have heard that this feelseembarassing to the female students. That is 'my' only issue.All in all, an amazing school. Probably one of the best in my opinion. I hope that they will persevere with what they are doing, because Mansfield looks towards a greater future!
If you are planning on sending your child or transferring to Mansfield State High School, DONT!Most teachers abuse their power over students and inforce their own set of idiotic rules. Most teachers set the task on the textbook and go on their phone or iPad. Teachers at MSHS do the bare minimum and treat students like their property. This creates a lack of respect for the teachers and effects the students learning environment.Mansfield State High School has unreasonable rules, punishments and uniform. A couple of years ago MSHS gave a twelve year old child a rasor on picture day and told him to shave. No teacher supervised whilst he was shaving and he cut himself three times, because he had never shaved before and he was given no cream to help him. The boy had blood all over his face when he returned home from school. When the story went public the school was questioned about the incident and they made no changes and talked about how he was simply following a teachers orders.I am a female student at MSHS and the uniform for girls is ridiculous. I must wear a blouse that is see threw on the back, exposing my bra and pretty much in any position the blouse opens up showing my chest because of the material being so stiff that an opening between buttons can be seen. I must wear a long skirt in the Summer and I have to wear a ribbon. I was sitting down at lunch on a 4-4 day, a 4-4 day is a day when we only have 1 lunch break, with my hat off and a teacher cane up to me and told me to put it on, so I did. When the teacher left I took it off to fix my hair so that I could acually wear the hat and the teacher refurns and sends me to detention right away. I try to tell them why but they didnt listen.At Mansfield mobile phones are prohibited, which is fine. Tho even if I have it in my bag turned off not in use I will reseave a 2 day out of school suspension. The school cares more about mobile phones than they do stopping bullying.MSHS claims to be a Bully Free school, which is so ignorant it is crazy. No school is Bully Free, I am at school every day and the school is completely ignorant about bullying and more focused on idiotic things. Mansfield has a lot of Rasism among students and a lot of bullying. I have been to a lot of different schools and Mansfield has the most bullying I have ever seen.A deputy at Mansfield State High School on 3/12/18 said on assembly A lot of students have been having water fights. If this continues we may have to ban water bottles. Keeping in mind that it is Summer and boiling hot. Mansfield is not what it seems. It is painting a fantasy picture for parents, there are no resources or good programs, dont let it fool you. Dont come here.

probably my favourite place to get haircuts. It's cheap, the hair dresser is nice, and the place totally doesnt smell like pee
I have been for many occasions to this wonderful school. It has amazing and inviting teachers and students. The librarians are helpful and quickly help you with what you need. The library is a good facility with a good atmosphere. The classrooms stay up-to-date with childrens needs such as desks, an interactive whiteboard and powerful laptops for their teachers. The music program will exceed expectations with listening to the dazzling music that they aspire to make, which becomes a reality when at contests and showings at the school.
